Answer 1 of 4: Are Thomson the only company that offer the Iberotel Palace on an AI basis? I have checked other websites like Expedia and they only seem to.

thomson sharm el sheikh

We used the beach every day and the beds were plentiful but if you wanted a front line bed it was down to the beach by 7am to reserve them. A waiter called Aja came up immediately and asked if we wanted a drink, and we ordered beer, tipped him and after that he was like our personal waiter for the whole time on the beach, asking if we wanted anything else about every half hour. Another drawback was the flight. This time we opted for two weeks of luxury at the Sensatori and we weren't disappointed. Generally the restaurants were very good, though I did find the Buffet Restaurant somewhat disappointing for lunch and dinner. The one thing i must mention is the restaurants insist on everone using hand sanitiser before they dine which i think is very good as the food won't make you ill but other peoples germs will. We will definitely be going back to the sensatori next year for more winter luxury. One of our few criticisms would have to be lack of toilets with a trip to one's room almost as easy as getting a handy nearby toilet. We have used Sensatori Teneriffe a few times and it knocks this hotel into a cocked hat, with a choice of food that is not only appealing in looks but taste better to, and twice the choice of this Sesatori. The whole hotel was great, definitely recommend it, Food very good in all the restaurants. We have just returned from a 10 day holiday in the Sensatori Hotel Sharm el Sheikh. We walked to reception and yes, they confirmed they had forgotten about us and someone would take us to our room straight away. The Marhaba was fine for some but the Middle Eastern food didn't agree with me. The accommodation was excellent but we did feel that midnight was rather early for the closure of the All-Inclusive drink option. It is standard practice that they keep your passport for 24 hours, then you can pick it up at reception. Perhaps an extra hour or maybe a little increase in the price? There were families with young children in the restaurant and knowing children I was very concerned about the health and safety issue of being so close to something that could cause serious burns. We were in a family room , and initial impressions were good. One has to take such matters into consideration. There are two ladders at the end of the jetty for access to the reef and when you get in and snorkel the colours of the coral and fish are fantastic. I would say ninety percent of the clientele were British, but I did hear a lot of Italian the second week, made it feel like I was on the Italian Riviera. There was plenty of choice but it was just not presented very well and we ended up walking around and around trying to find something that looked at all appetising. I must mention two things before i finish and they are the sensatori cleanliness and the staff, this hotel in my opinion is spotless and i would recommend it to my best freind and the staff are outstanding and all go the extra mile to keep everone happy. I did meet a few young people that found that out the hard way and were saying hello to Huey in the toilet. A second Tiran was clearly needed for the lunchtime demand. The staff in all the restaurants were top class and the smiling Mohammads in the Tiran Diner just couldn't do enough for us. The hotel has a number of shops adjacent to the piano bar which sell all of the usual things that you might want to take back home ie handbags, shoes, jewellery, clothes, wall hangings etc etc but there is also a shopping area to the side of the hotel called Barron Boulevard where you can purchase all of the same things, if you are looking for a handbag or purse pop into shop number 6 and see max he will sort you out we have shopped there two years on the trot his merchandise is very good. In those two restaurants local wine and drinks are included but if you have a special preference for other wines it can be expensive. We stayed it this hotel last year and promised ourselves that we would return and this year we did and we travelled with family members that had been to Sharm with us on previous occasions and they were very impressed with everything that the Sensatori had to offer. He asked if I was enjoying my stay and what room I was in, and I explained I had only just arrived and did not yet know my room but would let him know. We booked a jacuzzi sea view room which was in block 1 with a great view of tiran island and the red sea and i would say that the position of block 1 in relation to the rest of the hotel is ideal. I like my whiskey and I found the local brand quite pleasant with a little water, gin and tonic is good to. The swim-up was a great bonus and also allowed us to meet up with two lovely couples in adjoining rooms. I was not happy with this and went to Thomson guest relations to ask for a change of room, but they said there were none available and to come back on Thursday when there was a change over and they may be able to do something. The emphasis in the other trips was on snorkelling but that is not our thing and what we missed was a half-day boat trip hopping from town to town along the way. I went to one of the currency machines to change my English currency to Egyptian pounds, intending to tip 20 Egyptian pounds each time I got good service, and whilst doing this I met the assistant manager of the hotel, Achmed. The piano bar and the reception bar are the only areas for a drink and tend to get rather crowded late in the evening. To summarise. Being a middle aged couple with no children we thought there should have been somewhere you could escape the children at night, but no way Thomson had not provided an adult only bar. Most evenings we dined in fountain view restaurant which we found very convinient as there was a large choice of different foods that would suit everyone and most lunch times we would visit the tiran diner which again was very good, we also dined in the asian restaurant on two occasions and both times Most evenings we dined in fountain view restaurant which we found very convinient as there was a large choice of different foods that would suit everyone and most lunch times we would visit the tiran diner which again was very good, we also dined in the asian restaurant on two occasions and both times were outstanding. We must have sat there for half an hour no cold towels or welcome drink on arrival as stated in the brochure. There were three cooking staions available but you had to queue for a while by which time whatever you picked up to accompany it was cold. Being a couple we like a quiet drink but sometimes that was not possible with children running about and laying about on sofas plus young mothers with children so young they were in buggies, and this was at in the evening. The staff however were very obliging and efficient probably due to the fact I tipped every time, but not necessarily. Lovely resort Great beach, drinks being offered all the time by beach staff Great diving and snorkelling Very attentive and friendly staff Very attentive and friendly Thomson guest relations team where nothing is too much trouble. Our first day on the beach was a very pleasant experience, nice sun beds, cushioned and very comfortable. Would we return? The friendliness of the staff was quite staggering. The only trip we took was to the Market in Sharm itself. The room is a lot better and overlooks the pool area with views in the distance of palm trees and an Island called Tiran Island where you can watch the sun rise if you are up at Egyptian time. Most stone grill restaurants I have been to the hot stone is placed in the middle of the table so there is no danger of accidently catching your arm on the hot stone. Just to add last night we went to the stone grill restaurant where you have to pay extra. This is a big negative to us and one of a few reasons we will not be returning. I got back to the bar near reception and my wife was still waiting in the bar, but it seemed they had forgotten about us. This is what I came for, the sun, beach and the coral reef and as far as this was concerned I was not disappointed, as my wife and I were in Sharm El Sheik and Ras Mohamed diving twenty five years ago and were wowed by the coral and fish. No adult only bar where you can avoied the many baby buggies and children sleeping on the sofas in the piano bar Food in main restaurant bland and poor presentation Inadequate room in the piano lounge and reception bar in the evening, many times we returned after a meal there was no seating available anywhere, not even outside, bad planning. Next to the wall of the hotel was a back road that accessed the workers part of the hotel and boiler room. It passed a few hours but one market is the same as another. Only downside was we booked a room with a swim up pool. The lack of kids in our area was also a major bonus.

We have visited Sharm El-Sheikh six times in the https://1dma.ru/best/halestorm-tickets-mn.html seven years and we go there in january or feburary to break up the cold and dull UK winter with a little bit of luxury.

I spoke to Natalie from Thomson guest relation about the room change and she was more than willing to help, a most happy obliging see more lady who changed us to room thomson sharm el sheikh a week.

The plus. Similarly, the male staff looking after our rooms were a dream despite their long hours. Cushioned sun beds on beach and pools Negatives. AMC Airlines provide the transport from Dublin and, while it was very prompt on both journeys the flights were the ultimate in boredom with no entertainment of any kind - alcohol free, no TV monitors and not even a newspaper in sight.

The occasional cocktail was very good and deceptively strong. This seems to apply to all the beach waiters, there is no minimum wage here and it goes a long way to making up their wage. That was our mistake by not booking adults only Sensatori Egypt could improve by making adults only exclusive to adults because at present anyone can use adults only facilities It was our first time to Egypt for a holiday except for a one-day trip from Cyprus many years ago to view the Pyramids and Cairo.

However, we visited the Stonegrill on two occasions and enjoyed it. Each waiter seems to have their own section of beach and he told me to always get thomson sharm el sheikh bed in his section and he would look after us, which he did with excellent service.

It was ok but I was concerned about the fact you have a very hot stone placed right under your nose and have to stretch over it to get your meat from a plate to cook it. But on the whole a lovely holiday, plus fantastic snorkelling.

We didn't encounter one single staff member who didn't do their utmost for us and with a smile at all times. I felt there was room for a bigger Tiran or even a second one, perhaps also based on the beach. Really lovely but spoiled because families both sides sharing pool. It was excellent for breakfast but the quality of the food and the absence of cooking-to-order and proper joints beef, lamb, etc left one facing a task in "planning" your meals there. Nice rooms. The Thomson reps were very helpful on the few occasions we needed them. It may not have quite matched the class of the Excellence in Punta Cana or our first ever All Inclusive in Varadero but it didn't cost as much either! Could not fault it, We had an adult room over looking the adult pool and sea, 1st floor. We went to the main Restaurant the first evening for a meal and all I can say is the food reminded me of school dinners. There is a floating jetty that goes out over the shallow part of the beach to the house coral reef. The Casa Bianca was very good as was the Tiran Diner, the latter for both lunch and dinner. To us it was the reason for coming here, as well as having tried Sensatori in Tenerife and expecting the same five star services in Sharm. We didn't try the Gokan which is one of the two "pay" restaurants. We brought mainly Dollars but Euro and Sterling are also welcome. We were told that our room was not ready and to go to the reception bar and get a drink and they would call us when the room was ready. While there, the best system of changing money is the ATM machine in your hotel. We think it would be a great idea if the hotel could serve premium drinks within the all inclusive package but maybe charge a little more. We found soon-to-be-married Mohammad in the Lobby Bar a real gem and a lovely person who greatly enhanced our fortnight. We travelled as two couples and opted to upgrade to the Adult Area with swim-up accommodation. Fab weather Hotel complex amazing. Then most of the time we booked the Italian or Tiran restaurant which we found had a reasonable selection of food, good presentation and good service. It was excellent, very clean, very comfy bed, lovely bathroom with all your shampoo conditioner etc.
